A Little Help Please.

Well some of you saw the 00' Blazer 2dr. 5sp I asked about. I emailed him and he emailed me back and said "Motor was running perfect even with coolant leak. It's been garaged and hasn't been started for two years."
Here's the link again. So it's $1,700 and local but has issues.
http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/cto/1862073575.html

Here's a single cab 4.3 w/ 5sp but it's located in Mi. 958 miles away but looks pretty clean for $3k front clip and envoy bumper needs painted as well and the driver front fender looks a shade off. I'm not big on the fly n drive bit, but for that price it may be worth the trip. He said he just took a 1200 mile trip and truck ran great.

I found a SS in Chicago, but he's done emailing me back casue he thinks I'm a scammer. haha

Anyway, any thoughts, suggestions, etc.

Thanks,

And my emoticons and italic button aren't working. well they work in the stunt mode but not in S-clusive.

PS. Then there's this one, but I'm not spending $6,500, but it is a super clean ZQ8 still owned by the original owner.

Dont buy from Michigan or Chicago. I have lived in both places with S10s and you WILL have rust issues. no no no

Re: A Little Help Please.

S10s and blazers are terrible for rust. I don't understand why, but they are all rotten up there.

Re: A Little Help Please.

Even though it's an auto, I'd go for the black one in Temple; nice looking!! (maybe I'm biased though, lol)

That crossed my mind, but yeah you're right. I have no desire to ever go back to the Chicagoland area at all.

Your mom's Sonoma sounds nice.

When I talked to him, I thought I was talking to you. Same exact story with his S10 as yours. This is the S10 of choice, but may have to pass on the $6,500 and he is firm on the price. My bikes for sale now and even if I get full asking price I will still be way short.
BTW: Let me know when your gonna do another Autocross, I would love to come check it out.

Re: A Little Help Please.

There are several groups that do it here on a regular basis. If you get in with all of them you could race nearly every weekend somewhere! Lol. The group I've raced with (other than the vette club) is the North Texas S2000 Club (race info can be found on the DFW Miata forums). There's also Equipe Rapide, the actual SCCA races, a local BMW club, and some others that race. Popular locations include Pennington Field in Euless, the bus lot at TMS, and an old airfiled at Mineral Wells. Do some searches for the groups above and you'll find info (I'm on my phone atm so posting links is a pain). Also, you can find pics of me in my S-10 on autocrosspictures.net (I believe that's the site).
