I wasn't 100% sure on that...I had seen an X-treme in a junkyard that had discs and I didn't look at the rest of the truck to see if it had been a Blazer, just the rear end. lol

I looked it up in my Hollander Interchange and it says nothing about drums, just discs from 1998-03. Weird.

I didn't look, but do the Blazer rear discs have the e-brake in the rotor hat or in the caliper?

Interesting story about the e-brake in the rotor hat...The original design was born in 1963 or 1964 for the 1965 Corvette and the chief designer for Delco-Moraine HATED disc brakes. So he came up with this idea thinking GM would hate it but instead they ran with it. Then later they came up with the e-brake in the caliper, but went back to the mini drum design because people that didn't use the e-brake much were developing seized calipers.

The same person that designed the 1965 Corvette brakes also invented the self-adjusting drum brakes in 1962.

And there's your history lesson for today. lol

Back from the dead lol......

I noticed you said you wanted to tint your tails? Well check this out, this is my brother's Coly (with a v8 ). He found this one paint from a hobby shop in Hawaii where he is based for 5 bucks called Tamya (sp?) 'smoke'. A quick buff after paint and looks great!

Here is a link to his cardomain page with all his pics:
